It’s was like walking on a different planet. The temperature was below -20 degrees and I was carrying gas to heat my hands. My objective was to photograph these remains of this 1902 coal mine in Toretsk. a few month later I went back and the place was destroyed. A moment later Russia attacked Ukraine.
